An Architectural Icon

The Curtis and Lillian Meyer House is a stunning example of Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision and practical representation of modern American design.

Similar to the Herbert and Katherine Jacobs second house in Madison, Wisconsin, this Usonian, Solar Hemicycle residence was completed in 1951. These homes are examples of Wright’s continuously evolving style culminating in his masterpiece The Guggenheim Museum in New York.

The Road to Restoration

Over 13 years and several phases of restoration battling glued down carpet and destructive flooding, owner Doug LaBrecque and his team worked to bring this one of a kind structure back to life…

A labor of love took it from this…

To the showpiece it is today…

A Team Like No Other

Purchasing the Meyer House was only the beginning of an extensive decade long restoration project. LaBrecque understood that returning the Meyer house to its original glory would take skilled and knowledgeable craftspeople willing to uphold the integrity of the Wright design.
